Stained Glass in the Round

glass

Beveled glass creates a stunning, prismatic effect in certain lighting conditions, as light is reflected and refracted. Join us for this class and incorporate beveled glass into a beautiful round piece full of color and light!

Prior to class students will choose a cluster of beveled glass, as well as the glass for your background/border, at Kiss My Glass. The bevels can be traditional, like a palm tree, seahorse, winged heart, or dolphin, or a variety of other shapes and images that are available. In class, students will learn how to design the round panel around your choice of bevels, cut, fit and foil your glass, solder, roll the lead border, patina and polish your piece.

Tool kits and glass may be purchased ahead of and in between classes but will not be available during class at Cabrillo.
