COMING SOON! Cabrillo College Makerspace

Cabrillo College has been awarded a $700K grant from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office to create a new, mentor-led, and widely accessible Makerspace for the college and Santa Cruz County community!

Access and training on classical and contemporary making equipment



  • 3D printers and scanners

  • laser cutters/etchers

  • CNC routers

  • Vinyl cutters

  • And so much more!


Fun and potentially life-changing! Cabrillo students and community members can use their newly acquired maker skills to

  • Prepare for internships and new job opportunities in advanced manufacturing,
    product design,and rapid prototyping!
  • Unleash their inner creative juices and launch a maker-related
    entrepreneurial venture of their own!

Student who successfully complete Art 95A - Survey of Digital Fabrication for Studio Arts with exemplary status will qualify for reduced fee Makerspace Memberships!
