Find a Job

Seahawk Jobs is Cabrillo College’s online job database. It includes on and off-campus, and part-time and full-time career positions. Check frequently as new opportunities are added daily. All currently enrolled Cabrillo students and alumni have access to this 24/7 online resource.

Current students must be enrolled in at least 3 units to register. Please allow 1-3 business days for access requests to be approved. You can find the Seahawk Jobs database here.

Student Employee Handbook

Student employees are an integral part of Cabrillo College. As a Student Assistant, you are recognized as an important part of our community, and we want to make sure you have a positive experience. Your work will help you gain new skills, develop strong work habits, and be a strong reference during your future job searches.

In order to help with the transition into your new role, we have created The Student Employee Handbook. Be sure to read it prior to starting your job on campus.

Work Study

Federal Work-Study provides part-time on-campus jobs for students with financial need.  Students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week and earn money to pay for educational expenses. Students can earn up to $2,500 per semester, or $5,000 per year, for up to 3 years.

There are several departments on campus that have positions to fill each semester on a first come, first serve basis. Funds are limited, so not all qualifying students will receive an award. For more detailed information go to the Financial Aid page here.

Students applying for jobs on campus can utilize the Student Employment Application.

Applications or resumes should be submitted to the hiring department. Once a department has decided to hire for the position, the student must complete a hiring packet through the Student Employment Center. All required documents must be submitted prior to starting work.
