College and Career Night is an opportunity to meet university representatives from numerous public and private colleges and universities from across the country. You will also meet instructors and representatives from Cabrillo College academic and career programs, who will help answer your questions as you plan your career path.


College and Career Night is an opportunity for high school students, parents, transfer students and community members to talk with over 75 university representatives and career professionals.


This event is taking place at various locations across the Cabrillo College campus.

  • Library- Cabrillo Science, Arts, & Humanities Programs (Building 1000)
    Passionate about science? Want a career in the arts? Enjoy learning about people? Representatives from Cabrillo are ready to answer your questions about these innovative programs. 
  • Cafeteria- Cabrillo Health, Public Service, and Business Programs (Building 900) 
    Seeking a job in the healthcare field or public service? Hope to develop your business skills? Meet Cabrillo College representatives to learn about these and other exciting programs.
  • Gym- Meet University Representatives (Building 1100)
    Representatives from public, private, and out- of- state colleges and universities will be on hand to answer your questions.

Financial aid staff will walk you through the financial aid process.

Why attend a community college?
Find out how Cabrillo supports your academic and career goals, whether you are in high school, have just graduated, or are working! You will learn about Cabrillo's dual enrollment and the exciting opportunities in Career Education.

  • When: 6:30pm / 7:30pm
  • Where: Cafeteria, Room 913 (lower level) 

Transfer Workshop

How do I transfer to a 4-year university?
Cabrillo College counselors will discuss what it takes to transfer and pursue a bachelor's degree.

  • When: 6:30pm / 7:30pm
  • Where: Gymnasium, Room 1118                   


Invite your parents and friends! Make a list of the colleges and careers you want to explore with questions to ask and a notepad to record your answers and thoughts. Colleges and universities may ask you to fill out information cards. Be sure to bring notes and write down important information including application deadlines. Plan to attend the workshops. They are offered multiple times throughout the evening for your convenience!
