Transfer Admission Agreements / Guarantees (TAAs,TAGs)

TAGs (for University of California schools):

NOTE: The deadline for Transfer Admission Guarantees with the UC colleges has passed.

Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAGs) are agreements that are written in addition to the application to a University of California school. TAGs give you guaranteed admission and early notification.

You may still apply to the UC colleges but the UC system transfer agreements (TAGs) are finished for Fall of 2012 admission.

Apply to the UC campus you wish to attend from November 1st - November 30th at www.universityofcalifornia.edu

Steps for completing a Transfer Admission Agreement (for CSUs and Private Universities)

• Have a copy of your transcripts from all colleges attended to refer to; do not report from memory. Obtain official transcripts ASAP. Official transcripts must be on file prior to counseling appointment to complete a TAG/TAA.
• Make an appointment with a counselor to write the agreement. To schedule an appointment with a counselor, contact the Counseling Office at (831) 479.6274, the Transfer/Career Center at (831) 479.6385, or the Watsonville Center at (831) 786.4734.
• Apply for admission to the CSU October 1st - November 30th at www.csumentor.edu
• Check your email (and spam) for any communications from the universities to which you applied.  Follow all instructions in accordance with their deadlines.

• Complete all coursework listed on your application and transfer agreement. Notify the universities of any changes to your TAA.
